ABOUT SHEENA HOLLAND THE DESIGNER 

Sheena Holland was born in 1967 in Camden, London and studied fashion under the fashion designer Katharine Hamnett in the 1980's at her design studios in north London as design room assistant, working on fabrics for the catwalks. Katharines designs at the time and fabrics were a statement both politically and creatively which influenced sheena. in the 1990's and 2000 Sheena went on to make wedding headwear and to design large floral, wire and concrete sculptures in London, and work for the likes of celebrities for one off events like Elton John's 54th birthday and Michael Jacksons 'World' tour. Jeffrey Archers London and country homes and Films such as 'The Mummy' and 'Sense and Sensibility', and HRH The Queen Mother's 100th birthday celebrations.

Sheena started making one off Vintage feather and leather headbands in 2003 and was the first designer to create the feather on headbands in a pad format. She now creates headbands, bridal tiaras and jewellery made from vintage materials using re-worked leather, antique, vintage jewellery and feathers combining fashion, shapes and colours from her training with Hamnetts and floristry. Her designs have sold to many people, clients include singers Pink, Lily Allen and more recently Alan Carr.
